Today, the first part where we looked at some of the booths at the Pitti Uomo fair we visited last week. We have chosen to focus on slightly different themes and the manufacturers and brands that is dear to the heart from before. When it comes to tailoring, we have visited Neapolitan Orazio Luciano.
At Pitti Uomo 89 show producers and brands the fall collections for 2016. This is partly because the buyers who will be able to place orders on the respective products, but also for the press to give an indication about what you will focus on for next fall.
Orazio Luciano or La Vera Sartoria Napoletana have you been reading about this on Manolo when we last year measurements sewed a jacket from the company. It is easy to see why La Verahas grown considerably in popularity in recent years. It offers an albeit expensive so extremely well-made product and how strange it sounds to call a coat of SEK 20 000 for affordable so it is difficult to say anything based on product quality, craftsmanship and design.
Of course there are cheaper alternatives that will work very well, but you are looking for absolute premium clothing Orazio Luciano is one of the companies that offer the most for your money.
When it comes to the Neapolitan brands I personally think that they almost always do best in their fall collections. The soft and lightweight structures with minimal construction often require a thicker, heavier fabric and the sometimes well-eccentric Italian aesthetics slow somewhat in drab tones and more portable.
Above all, it is the company coats that sparked my interest. Jackets and suits are apart from tygvalen relatively consistent between autumn and spring, but the outer coats is a garment almost exclusively worn in autumn and winter.
For many wearing the mind buying an expensive coat for the very reason that the garment is worn only for a limited part of the year. There is obviously a point in it but at the same time it is a garment worn more or less daily during that period.
We found a number of exciting products from the collection for next autumn that we can confirm at least part of will be sold at one of our Swedish stores.
